The Cajun Turkey with Avocado sandwich has been a bestseller since Heidi Bendiksen and Steve Naples brought their Bay Ridge, Brooklyn roots to Colorado in 1990. What began as a small bagel and ice cream shop in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood evolved into Heidi's Brooklyn Deli, officially opening its doors on September 9, 1994. Today, daughters Jenee and Juliana steer the second-generation family business, maintaining the tradition of baking fresh bread, bagels, and breads daily in-house. We source high-quality, natural products from family-owned companies like Perdue/Harvestland Poultry and Old World Provisions to craft our menu of sandwiches, salads, soups, and wraps. Our Montrose location continues the legacy of neighborly service, offering catering options like bagel and pastry platters, boxed lunches, and sandwich platters for local events.
