Scott opened High Alpine Brewing Company in the summer of 2015, establishing a gathering place in downtown Gunnison where beer meets treeline. Our brick oven pizzas are crafted from dough made entirely in-house, alongside fresh salads featuring homemade dressings and appetizers designed to start your meal. We source local ingredients sustainably whenever possible, ensuring every plate reflects the Gunnison Valley’s abundance. Beer enthusiasts frequently seek out Green Gate IPA, a West Coast style that appeals to hopheads and those expanding their palates. For cocktail lovers, the Smoked Cherry Old Fashioned stands out with cherry-infused Breckenridge Bourbon, bitters, maraschino cherries, and a distinct cherry wood smoke. The Pig n' Fig pizza offers another crowd favorite, topped with spicy chili oil, dried mission figs, domestic prosciutto, a cheese blend of gorgonzola and other cheeses, fresh arugula, and balsamic reduction. Kitchen service runs daily from 11 AM to 9 PM, with happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM. We offer a full menu and craft beverage selection for lunch, dinner, or après activities.
