About
Sustainable agriculture on 3.5 acres in Silt, CO, fuels our mission to grow nutrient-dense vegetables, empower youth, and feed the community. We operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, using farming as a tool to transform young lives and increase access to healthy food across Garfield County. Our produce reaches the public through our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, offering 18 weeks of assorted local vegetables from mid-June to mid-October. Members purchase an annual membership to support upfront costs for seeds, equipment, and labor, receiving weekly shares of the harvest in return. We also route 20% of our produce to hunger relief efforts, serving local WIC and SNAP customers, sponsoring CSAs for in-need families, and participating in the Lift-Up farm-to-food-pantry program. Beyond the fields, we provide paid opportunities for young people ages 14-17 to work as Crew Workers, learning skills in leadership, public speaking, and land care under the guidance of our Youth Program Coordinator. Pick-ups are available on-farm in Silt as well as in Glenwood Springs and Carbondale.
