Historic Silverton Downtown Loft

Constructed in 1895 during the first prospecting and mining boom that gave the Town of Silverton its name, our two-story, red brick building has stood as a landmark for over a century. We are the Historic Silverton Downtown Loft, and we have been in our family for over 40 years, continuing a legacy that began with our great-great-grandfather James Williams Jarvis, who rode for the Pony Express as a teen before becoming a rancher and businessman in the San Juans. We have lovingly renovated the space to maintain its original character while incorporating modern amenities, creating apartment-style accommodations that serve as a soft place to land for adventurers and creatives after a day on the trails. Our units feature a lovely mixture of antique and contemporary furniture and decor, offering 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with free wifi and parking available. Situated in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, we provide a home-away-from-home experience that balances historic charm with the comfort travelers need to recharge.
