Lands End Observatory

The Lands End Observatory is situated within the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests, which offer a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities, including hiking, fishing, and off-highway vehicle use. The forests, managed by the US Forest Service, cover over 3 million acres and provide scenic backdrops and connections to the land and its history. Visitors to the area can access over 3,500 miles of trails and routes, as well as various recreational activities and scenic viewpoints.
