Middle Park Fair and Rodeo

The Middle Park Fair and Rodeo grounds in Kremmling have hosted wild bronc riding, cattle shows, and community gatherings since the early 20th century. What began as street-side events on Highway 40 evolved into a permanent destination after local cowboy Emery Sevier’s bronc-riding mishap in 1910 prompted organizer Mr. McElroy to carve out land from his ranch. Today, the fairgrounds stand as a testament to that history, offering a space for rodeo performances and agricultural exhibitions. The event draws support from a wide array of local businesses, including Blue Valley Ranch, Freeport McMoRan, and the Grand County Board of Commissioners. Visitors can expect a traditional Western atmosphere where stockgrowers, ranch owners, and families come together to celebrate Middle Park’s heritage. The fair continues to be a central fixture in Kremmling, honoring the legacy of the cowboys from Middle Park and North Park who first gathered to compete.
