Serving organic fair trade coffee to the Gunnison community since 1997, Mochas Coffeehouse and Bakery has earned the title of Gunnison’s best coffee shop every year since 2003. The husband-and-wife team of Kate and Geoff Oros purchased the establishment in 2019, bringing Geoff’s business administration background and Kate’s local roots and extensive experience at the shop together. Cravens Coffee handles the sourcing and roasting of the beans, which are prepared using high-quality espresso equipment by trained baristas. The menu features fresh-baked bagels with house-made cream cheeses, Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, Breyer’s all-natural ice cream, real fruit smoothies, and made-to-order breakfast burritos.
