Montrose Recreation District Field House

For decades, locals have been able to enjoy the many goings-on here at the Montrose Recreation District Field House. Originally built as the MRD community indoor pool, our facility has evolved to become the home of all MRD indoor Soccer and Lacrosse programs. We host a variety of activities on our turf, including turf parties and rentals that bring the community together. While our outdoor pool is closed for the winter months, we keep the energy high with year-round programming for youth and adults. Our services extend beyond the field house; we manage the broader Montrose Recreation District, which was formed in 1956 to provide recreation programming across the eastern half of Montrose County. The district offers extensive facilities including the Community Rec Center with its aquatics, fitness classes, climbing wall, and game center. We publish recreation activity guides three times a year in December, April, and August to help residents plan their participation in our diverse offerings. Situated in Montrose, we remain dedicated to maintaining and expanding our facilities as the community grows.
