Over the Edge Sports has been a cornerstone of Fruita’s mountain biking scene since opening its doors in April 1995. We transformed a nearly abandoned 90-year-old building into a dedicated bike shop, helping to carve out the singletrack trails north of town on 18 Road before land managers even gave us permission. That early work helped establish Fruita as an international destination for mountain bikers, a status cemented by our inaugural Fat Tire Festival in 1996. Today, we serve the Western Slope, Grand Valley, and Grand Junction with a curated selection of mountain bikes designed to inspire confidence and enhance skills. Our service menu ensures you get back on the trails quickly, offering everything from 50-hour lowers services starting at $75 to full shock overhauls. We handle nitrogen charging and minor customizations for most fork and shock brands, often turning them around in days rather than weeks. Beyond repairs, our Personalization Station lets you upgrade tires, wheels, pedals, and grips to match your style. We also stock our own custom cycling apparel and gear, along with famous stickers, so you can show your support for this local shop.
