Nardiam Kustoms

Nick and Diana Reiter run Nardiam Kustoms, a Grand Junction-based shop specializing in hydrographics, Cerakote, laser engraving, and custom Kydex holsters. Hydrographics, or water transfer printing, involves submerging items into water with a PVA film pattern to apply designs ranging from camos and flames to skulls and carbon fiber. The process requires sandblasting and stripping previous coatings to ensure proper adhesion, followed by a clear coat to seal the design against fading or chipping. This technique works on plastic, fabric, metal, glass, and hard woods. Cerakote provides a durable, thin-film finish with excellent chemical and heat resistance, commonly used for high-end gun finishes but also suitable for car parts and other plastic or metal items. The shop offers a wide variety of colors and can combine multiple colors with laser engraving for complex finishes. In addition to coating services, they build custom Kydex holsters tailored to specific needs.
