Since April 1995, Over the Edge Sports has anchored Fruita’s identity as a global mountain biking destination. Born when the local energy economy shifted, our founders transformed a 90-year-old building into a shop while carving out the singletrack trails north of town on 18 Road. That inaugural year, we hosted the first Fat Tire Festival, putting Western Colorado on the map for riders worldwide. Today, we remain the hub for the Western Slope, Grand Valley, and Grand Junction regions, offering a curated selection of bikes designed to inspire confidence and enhance skills on the trail. Our technicians specialize in getting you back on the dirt quickly, performing suspension servicing for most fork and shock brands within days, including nitrogen charging and minor customization. We also stock accessories, gear, and custom cycling apparel, along with our famous stickers, ensuring you can rep the shop from handlebars to helmet. Beyond Fruita, our legacy of trail development and tourism has expanded our network to stores in Hurricane, Utah; Melrose, South Australia; and Todos Santos, Baja California Sur.
