Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground

Perched along the Uncompahgre River, Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground serves as one of three campgrounds within Ridgway State Park, offering 50-amp full hookup sites alongside walk-in tent spots. This riverside location provides camper service buildings equipped with showers and flush restrooms, plus seasonal laundry facilities for extended stays. The Eddy Group Campground, situated within Pa-Co-Chu-Puk, features ample space and dedicated facilities for larger gatherings. The park operates daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the visitor center open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily vehicle passes range from $10 to $15, while individual daily passes are available for $4. Leashed dogs, service animals, and horses are permitted throughout the grounds. Winter camping is also available in select loops of neighboring Elk Ridge and Dakota Terraces, which offer plowed, reservable sites and heated facilities.
