Homemade peach jam and peach salsa anchor the offerings at Palisade Peach Shack, a family-run orchard and market situated just off the Palisade exit on I-70. The Sanders family began this venture in 2007 with eight acres of peach trees, expanding today to over eighty acres that yield peaches, cherries, apricots, nectarines, plums, pears, and apples. Approximately eighty percent of that acreage is dedicated to the region's famous Palisade peaches.

Visitors can browse a local market stocked with fresh fruit, delicious baked goods, and locally roasted coffee. The on-site bakery prepares pre-order holiday pies, including peach, pecan, beef, chicken, and veggie pot pies, alongside seasonal fruit varieties like cherry, apple, pumpkin, and peach cranberry. During the summer months, u-pick tours allow guests to harvest cherries, apricots, and peaches directly from the orchard rows. The business operates seven days a week, welcoming both locals and travelers seeking fresh, locally grown produce and specialty preserves.
