Paradise Theatre

Built in 1928 at 215 Grand Avenue, the Paradise Theatre stands as a historic landmark in Paonia, Colorado. We replaced the wood-built Gayety Theater after it burned down, constructing a masonry building with rough stucco that still occupies its original lot today. Our single-sided marquee and porch-style awning, added in the 1970s, frame an entrance that leads to a lobby with restrooms and a concession counter. Inside, 119 fixed seats face a stage equipped with digital projection and full sound systems. We host live music, films, theatre productions, comedy shows, and fashion shows, while also offering a bar area and dance floor for private rentals. Our on-screen advertising displays logos before films and in the lobby, and we provide gift cards delivered via email or text. Designated a Historic Landmark in 2015, we continue to serve the North Fork Valley with diverse art and entertainment.
