Jim and Amy Lokey established Red Mountain Motel & RV Park in Silverton, creating a family-run hub for off-road enthusiasts across all seasons. The property accommodates 12 motel rooms and eight cozy cabins, each featuring private baths and cable television. Motel guests enjoy full kitchens with king or queen beds, while cabin visitors select from queen, full-size, or bunk configurations. The campground offers 50 total spots, including five water and electric sites alongside 45 full-hookup spaces for both back-in and pull-thu RVs, plus dedicated tent sites. Beyond lodging, the Lokeys host activities like volleyball and bad mitten, maintaining a playground for children. Every Fourth of July, the park hosts a community cookout with views of Silverton’s parade and fireworks. Summer visitors frequently rent red Jeeps for mountain adventures, while winter guests utilize the property as a base for skiing and snowmobiling. The site welcomes pets and offers smoke-free rooms, ensuring comfort for families returning year after year.
