Restoration Vineyards

Our story begins with a vineyard locals once called 'the stick vineyard,' a name born from the bamboo stakes that once crisscrossed its neglected terrain. We took ownership in early 2012, breathing new life into soil that had been planted in 2007 but left to languish. What started as a retreat from the corporate world quickly became a labor of love, sparked by Linda’s aversion to waste when our first modest harvest yielded more grapes than we knew how to use. That decision led us to craft our first wine, a Chardonnay, and eventually build a reputation for premium wines that reflect resilience and craftsmanship.

The property itself tells two stories. One is agricultural, rooted in the care of our vines and the warmth of the Palisade community that welcomed us. The other is mechanical, featuring Gary’s collection of vintage Mercedes-Benz automobiles. After a career in parts distribution, Gary found a parallel passion in restoring these classic cars, each one quietly on display across our grounds, waiting for their turn under the wrench. Walking through our vineyards or browsing the cars offers a glimpse into a life dedicated to renewal.
