Ridgway Railroad Museum

The Ridgway Railroad Museum preserves the history of railroading in Ouray County and surrounding areas through exhibits, a reference library, and educational programs. The museum showcases a collection of railroad cars and equipment, including Motor No. 1 and Goose No. 4, which are available for public viewing and offer rides on certain days. The museum also hosts events, such as Railroad Days and an annual Work Week, and publishes books and other materials related to the history of railroading in the region.
