Second Street Tavern

Former Grand Avenue Grill chef Uriel Escobar operates La Diosa, a food truck parked at Second Street Tavern that serves locally-inspired Mexican recipes and bar food favorites like wings and burgers. The tavern, which opened in summer of 2023 at 127 W 2nd Street, occupies a historic building that previously housed the Viking Garage, a consignment store, and Bonfire Brewing. The space features rustic live edge wood accents and metal finishes, creating a laid-back atmosphere for locals and travelers. As a locally owned establishment without an on-site kitchen, it allows patrons to bring in their own food or order from the truck. The venue offers a wide selection of craft beers, cans, wine, and expertly crafted cocktails. Live music performances, ranging from acoustic melodies to energetic bands, are a regular feature.
