Cory and Steph Nasso have kept the Silver Plume General Store open in Pitkin since 2007, serving as a central hub for travelers exploring Gunnison National Forest. Our storefront offers more than just supplies and friendly advice; we provide lodging, including our recently remodeled upstairs cabin, which guests praise for its perfect comfort and front porch views. We operate a full-service gas station and maintain an extensive fleet of top-of-the-line Polaris side-by-side rentals. Guests may bring their own vehicle or rent directly from us, and our team helps select routes tailored to the day's weather conditions. Inside, you will find a gift shop and a grill where the breakfast burritos are consistently rated as top-notch. Luke, part of our crew, is known for his hands-on help with mechanical needs, such as fixing flat tires on the spot. We are military-friendly and eager to assist with anything from off-roading adventures to simple coffee breaks. Our location sits conveniently near Aspen, Buena Vista, and Gunnison, making us an ideal stop for hiking, fishing, and ATV enthusiasts.
