Skip Doty’s vision for year-round vegetable production in Palisade took root in 2011, evolving into Skips Farm To Market, a specialty grocery and farmers market located at 211 E. Aspen Ave in Fruita. We operate Monday through Saturday, bringing local farmers directly to your table with a focus on sustainable agriculture and high-quality, nutrient-dense food. Our inventory features small-batch produce from the Roaring Fork Valley, the Western Slope, and Eastern Utah, emphasizing biodiversity through seed selection, breeding, and growing beyond organic standards. We prioritize building a sustainable local food system by supporting small farms and ranches that act as stewards of the land, ensuring healthy soil and reduced food waste through composting and donations to underserved communities.
