Stone Cottage Cellars

Our adventure began in 1994 when we traded the corporate world for the North Fork Valley, purchasing one of the highest elevation vineyards in the country to build Stone Cottage Cellars from the ground up. We hand-laid the first stones for our original Stone Cottage, cleared directly from the land, and have since expanded to include a wine cellar, tasting room, and lodging within that historic structure. This family-owned business remains an ongoing labor of love, with every step of our journey involving friends and relatives who help prune vines, harvest grapes before the frost, and even build cabinetry. You will find us crafting fine Colorado wines, including our recent vintages of Merlot, grounded in an alpine lifestyle that values consistency and quality. The setting offers crisp high-altitude wines, mountain views, cottonwoods, and the soft sound of a nearby creek. Our resident wine dog, Gibbs, is always happy to greet visitors, and we invite you to share in the restful mountain life that has defined our home for over two decades.
