Stoner RV Resort

Six of the twenty-four full hookup sites back directly up to Stoner Creek, anchoring this family and animal-friendly resort in the San Juan mountains. Sitting just above 7,420 feet, Stoner RV Resort offers a green-friendly environment surrounded by 100-foot conifers that provide a secluded setting back from the highway. The town itself was established in 1888, with the RV resort launching its first season in May 2015. Guests can choose from four distinct areas, The Pines, The Aspens, The Meadows, and Stoner Creekside, each containing six pad sites. The Meadows serve as the largest pads for oversized rigs, while Stoner Creekside remains the most popular choice. Each site accommodates up to six people and two licensed vehicles, with free high-speed Wi-Fi supporting both work and play. Located 45 miles from Telluride, the resort serves as a convenient base for exploring the half dozen nearby fourteeners and surrounding outdoor adventures. Operating seasonally from May 1st to October 15th, Stoner welcomes overnight campers and extended stays alike. Smokers are permitted in accordance with Colorado regulations, provided they respect children and other guests.
