Since 2000, we have provided a path to healthy cooking and eating from our boutique location in the historic downtown area of Montrose. Our journey began as a certified organic farm just outside of town, where we grew produce and sold it at local farmers' markets. Cooking and baking became integral parts of our daily lives, leading us to open our current brick-and-mortar store in 2013 to share our love for the art of cooking. We specialize in hard-to-find kitchen and baking supplies, including perforated baguette pans and bulk Einkorn wheat berries, alongside quality gadgets for all household needs. Visitors often stop by for our fresh baked goods, which are available on Saturdays and include pies, cinnamon rolls, cookies, bread, and muffins. Our German Chocolate Cake is a local favorite. We also carry local seeds and items for preserving food, such as frozen cherries. While we pride ourselves on high-end products that sometimes cost less than online retailers, we are not just a supplies house; we are a unique shop that feels like half Williams Sonoma and half Mennonite country store.
