About
Built in the early 1890s as a single-story merchants store, our historic stone building evolved through the years to become Ridgway’s firehouse. The iconic belfry atop our roof was added during the 1968 filming of "True Grit," a detail that anchors our place in local history. We source hyper-local ingredients directly from regional farmers, ranchers, and certified foragers, preparing them using ember, flame, and smoke to create dining experiences that feel both traditional and modern. Located across from historic Hartwell Park, we offer a versatile space for intimate meals or larger gatherings of up to 200 guests. Our comfortable atmosphere embodies the heritage of the San Juan Mountains, providing a relaxed backdrop for milestones and community connections. Whether hosting private events or serving daily meals, we bring the comfort of home to our patrons in this certified Colorado Creative District.
