Tiny Pine Bistro

A seasonal tiki bar tucked in the backyard serves live music and tropical drinks on Thursdays through Saturdays, anchoring the casual dining experience at Tiny Pine Bistro. Owners Leslie and Charles, who met working in Chicago restaurants, opened this Carbondale Main Street establishment in February 2022. Charles leads the chef-run kitchen, preparing thoughtfully composed dishes that prioritize local and seasonal produce and proteins. The menu features house-made pasta, hand-breaded local chicken tenders, and grass-fed beef burgers paired with fries. During warmer months, the bistro offers a summer farm dinner with a three-course menu from Tuesday through Sunday. The side deck and front porch welcome dogs, while the backyard Tiki Bar remains a separate, pet-free zone. Inside, the space accommodates up to 28 guests for private seated dinners. A 4% Restaurant Support surcharge is added to all checks, which can be removed upon request. Reservations are managed via RESY for parties of up to four, with direct contact available for larger groups. The restaurant accepts credit cards and provides wheelchair accessibility.
