Treads N Threads

Founded in 1998 as Head Over Heels, our Gunnison shop has evolved into a 6,000-square-foot active lifestyle destination at 113 N. Main. We started with just a few shoe brands in a small building, but by November 2000, we had moved to our current location and expanded into clothing to fill the space. The name Treads ‘N’ Threads came from a contest we held after a brief stint as The Perfect Blend. We specialize in comfortable, functional apparel from brands like Kuhl, Columbia, and Prana, paired with footwear from Dansko, Merrell, Hoka, Sorel, Chaco, and Keen. Our focus is on proper fit and value, treating our customers to a "Sit and Fit" experience where we take the time to understand your needs. You can expect coverage from head to toe for hiking, running, working, or traveling, with clothes that transition seamlessly from the trail to the dinner table and from the mountain to the museum.
