Two Creeks At Snowmass

Four mountains converge in Snowmass Village, creating a year-round playground for skiers and summer adventurers. The resort encompasses Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass, each offering distinct terrain accessed by gondolas like the Silver Queen and Elk Camp. Visitors secure lift tickets, book lodging through Stay Aspen Snowmass, and rent equipment for activities ranging from snowboarding to mountain biking. The area features the Lost Forest adventure zone, dedicated bike parks, and live music events. Austrian immigrant Friedl Pfeifer partnered with Walter and Elizabeth Paepcke to found the Aspen Skiing Corporation, which opened Aspen Mountain's Lift-1 in 1946. That chairlift was the world’s longest at the time, marking the start of Aspen's transformation from a quiet mining town into a major recreation hub.
