Ute Theater and Events Center

Since 1947, the Ute Theater and Events Center has stood as a downtown Rifle landmark, evolving from a historic structure into a modernized performance venue without losing its classic charm. The facility underwent significant restoration that integrated state-of-the-art sound and projection systems while preserving the building's original character. Today, the theater offers comfortable seating, improved acoustics, and enhanced sightlines, ensuring a quality experience for audiences attending concerts, movie screenings, and local theater productions. The venue is fully handicap accessible and non-smoking, accommodating everything from general admission shows to reserved seating events. Beyond hosting touring acts like the South Austin Moonlighters and local productions such as Ken Ludwig's Lend Me A Tenor, the theater serves as a hub for community engagement through film series, arts education programs, and special events.
