Varaison Vineyards & Winery

John Bradshaw laid the first brick of our Palisade home in 1904, and we have kept that legacy alive since Ron and Kristin West purchased the property in 2004. We transformed this elegant brick Victorian residence into a family-owned vineyard and winery, blending Old World traditions with 21st-century wine education. Our guests enjoy exclusive tastings in our private cellar, dining room, or event pavilion, often pairing them with wood-fired pizza and wine during starlit summer Friday nights. The property features a heritage rose garden, a fire pit, and a hearth area that invites lingering conversation. In 2010, our wines earned international recognition at the Paris Wines and Spirits Expo, securing a spot alongside distinguished French and American varietals in a blind tasting at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence. We take pride in crafting wines that reflect both the strength of our town and the tenacity of our family. Guests join us for lessons, private dining experiences, or simply a glass of wine in our tasteful ambiance. Our doors are open Monday through Sunday, and we welcome families to explore our estate and amenities.
