Since 1988, Welder Ranch and Outfitting Services has guided outdoor enthusiasts through the upper White River region. Brian and Shawn Welder celebrate 32 years in the saddle, offering year-round recreation that spans the White River National Forest and Flat Tops Wilderness. Our summer schedule features fishing guide services and horseback rides, while fall brings big game hunting opportunities including archery and rifle hunts. Winter transforms the landscape for snowmobile tours, and we continue to provide half-day or full-day horseback riding excursions alongside backcountry fishing and horse trips. We currently have limited openings for the 1st rifle season beginning October 14th, as well as availability for the 3rd rifle season starting November 7th, 2026. Our team manages rough terrain with expertise, ensuring excellent sleeping arrangements and food for our guests. Guests enjoy beautiful scenery and unforgettable hunting experiences on their first elk hunt or quiet snowmobile rides. Appointment is required for most services, and we are fully licensed and insured to serve you.
