Wild Willow Outfitters began as a shared dream between Stephen Heath and Preston McKelvey, two partners who bonded over the Roaring Fork Valley’s rivers and wildlands. Stephen moved to the valley from South Carolina in 2012, and together with native Preston, they turned their love for the outdoors into a full-service outfitting business. We guide clients through guided fly fishing trips tailored for beginners, families, and experienced anglers, offering expertise in gear, casting, and local river knowledge. Our services extend to clay target shooting in a safe, controlled setting and premium ski rentals for winter sports enthusiasts. We also provide e-bike rentals for those wishing to explore Aspen’s town paths and nearby mountain scenery at a comfortable pace. Serving Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, and the greater Roaring Fork Valley, we focus on educating guests on proper techniques and promoting conservation. Our goal is to create unforgettable outdoor experiences that connect people of all ages and skill levels with the beauty of nature, ensuring every adventure is rooted in local expertise and genuine enthusiasm.
