Williams Cellars

Five generations of fruit growing in Western Colorado laid the foundation for Williams Cellars, a winery rooted in the legacy of the Williams family. Our story begins with J.H. (Pap) Williams purchasing 40 acres of orchard land on the slope of the Grand Mesa in the early 1900s, a site overlooking the scenic Surface Creek Valley at an elevation of 6130 feet. Today, Dan and Ty Williams manage 300 acres of apples, peaches, and pears, bringing that same agricultural expertise into winemaking. We produce hand-crafted wines using high-quality grapes harvested from our own vineyards and other local growers. Our award-winning wines are crafted to complement dining and entertaining, reflecting Dan’s dedication to fine wine and winemaking. You can find our tasting room in The AppleShed in Cedaredge, open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00, and Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00.
