Z's Orchard

Tree-ripened peaches hand-selected for quality ship from this Palisade farm to customers across the continental United States every late July through September. Z's Orchard has cultivated its 20-acre site since 1973, when Carol Zadrozny and Richard Skaer began the family’s legacy of growing stone fruit. Now celebrating its 53rd year, the operation involves four generations of the family tending orchards, vegetable gardens, and a bee yard. The 182-day growing season begins in early June with sweet cherries, apricots, peas, and leafy greens. As summer progresses, the farm produces plums, flowers, and the region's famous succulent peaches. The season concludes with apples, pears, winter squash, and pumpkins in the fall. Beyond the farm stand, the business supports local agriculture through farm markets and festivals, maintaining its reputation for high-quality produce in Western Colorado.
