At 622 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of Dolores, or 45 miles southeast of Monticello, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Dolores, Lebanon, Arriola, Yellow Jacket, and Lewis.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 30 and 42. Colorado 145 near mile marker 8.
