At 240 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles south of Grand Junction, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Mesa County.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 44 and 54. Colorado 141 between mile markers 147 and 148.
