At 321 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles southwest of Naturita, or 36 miles southeast of La Sal, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern San Miguel and southwestern Montrose Counties.

This includes the following highways... Colorado 90 between mile markers 28 and 32. Colorado 141 between mile markers 32 and 43.
