Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

WHERE

North Central Mesa County in west central Colorado...

WHEN

Until 100 AM MDT.

IMPACTS

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- At 1000 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.6 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.4 to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of North Central Mesa County. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
