At 307 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles southwest of Delta, or 20 miles northwest of Montrose, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Delta, Orchard City, Olathe, Austin, and Cory.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 57 and 81. Colorado 65 between mile markers 1 and 5. Colorado 92 between mile markers 1 and 10.
