At 420 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Palisade to 18 miles southeast of Grand Junction to 12 miles west of Delta. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Palisade, Mesa, Skyway, Whitewater, Cameo, and Clifton.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 37 and 52. U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 41 and 60. Colorado 65 between mile markers 31 and 33, between mile markers 35 and 50, and between mile markers 53 and 61. Colorado 141 near mile marker 154.
