At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of Glenwood Springs, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Garfield County.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 127 and 129.
