At 938 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Parachute, or 35 miles west of Glenwood Springs, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Rifle and Battlement Mesa.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 79 and 91. Colorado 13 between mile markers 1 and 4.
