At 544 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Durango, moving north at 15 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.Locations impacted include... Durango, La Plata, Mayday, Hesperus, Hermosa, and Trimble.This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 14 and 36. U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 70 and 91. Colorado 140 between mile markers 19 and 23. Colorado 172 near mile marker 24.
