At 302 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Dove Creek, or 27 miles east of Monticello, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Dove Creek.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 56 and 65. Colorado 141 between mile markers 1 and 3, and between mile markers 36 and 43.
