At 342 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles southwest of Naturita, or 32 miles east of La Sal, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern San Miguel and southwestern Montrose Counties.

This includes the following highways... Colorado 90 between mile markers 20 and 32. Colorado 141 between mile markers 66 and 70.
