At 1240 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21 miles west of Fruita, or 29 miles west of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Mack.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 1 and 11. Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 215 and 231. Colorado 139 between mile markers 6 and 8.
