At 711 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 9 miles east of Collbran, or 33 miles southwest of Glenwood Springs, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Rifle and Collbran.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 92 and 94.
