At 454 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Fruita, or near Grand Junction, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Grand Junction, Fruita, Redlands, and Fruitvale.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 19 and 34.
