Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

WHERE

A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following county, Hinsdale.

WHEN

Until 715 PM MDT.

IMPACTS

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- At 407 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. At least between 0.4 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lake City and areas along Highway 149 from Lake City to Slumgullion Pass and Spring Creek Pass. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
