At 1242 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14 miles southeast of Gunnison, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Pitkin, Parlin, Ohio, Waunita Hot Spgs, and White Pine.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 167 and 181, and near mile marker 196. Colorado 114 between mile markers 2 and 7.
