At 133 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles southeast of Rico, or 17 miles north of Durango, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Tacoma, Rockwood, Hermosa, and Trimble.

This includes U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 29 and 47.
